Above Dublin

Sometimes there's nothing like stopping, sitting down and just looking... I did it from a roof terrace in the centre of Dublin, from which I could see the whole city. I love the pics in black&white, but I've alse posted a couple of them in colour to let you appreciate the combo of tones of the outfit :) Hope you like them!



De vez en cuando no hay nada como parar, sentarse, y mirar... Yo lo hice desde una terraza del centro de Dublín, desde donde puede verse toda la ciudad. Me encantan las fotos en blanco y negro, pero os he dejado un par en color para que os hagáis a la idea de los tonos del look ;) Espero que os gusten!

Classy

 

There's nothing like picking neutral colours to look elegant and chic. I'm wearing a chiffon dress of one of my fav shops, Forever21, with a short blazer. Accessorizes in tan, to add a bit of colour. I've chosen a studded belt and a pony tail on one side to avoid looking too serious. Hope you like it!

 

 

 

No hay nada como elegir los colores neutros para dar con un conjunto elegante y chic. Llevo un vestido de gasa de una de mis tiendas favoritas, Forever21, con una blazer cortita. Complementos en camel para darle un poco de vidilla, y lista! He escogido un cinturón con pinchos y coleta a un lado para no ir demasiado seria. Espero que os guste!

 

 

 

Il y a rien comme porter des couleurs neutres pour être élégante et chic. Je porte une robe noire avec des accessoires en camel et cru. J'espère que vous aimiez!

Some weeks ago I thought that I wanted a pair of graduated sunglasses to avoid going to the beach with contact lenses. I started browsing on the internet and I found Firmoo, a website which sends you a free pair of glasses when you make your first order! I chose these ones kind of Lennon style, because, as they were free, I wanted to try something new. But you have lots of different styles of graduated or not graduated glasses! You can check the website here, in case you also want to receive a free pair of glasses!



Hace poco pensé en que quería unas gafas de sol graduadas para ir a la playa sin lentillas (sí, en Dublín poca playa, pero en breve empiezan mis vacas!). Pero como mi economía no es que sea boyante, me puse a investigar y descubrí una tienda de gafas online en la que regalan el primer par de gafas que pides!! Yo elegí éstas a modo Lennon, porque ya que son gratis, ¿por qué no variar? Pero hay mil modelos y se pueden pedir con graduación o sin ellas! Oxford

I've already shown you this shorts kind of dockers here, and my Oxford shoes here and here. I love how they look together, though! The print of leopard in the sunnies adds the chic touch to this "good girl" look. Do you like it?

Ya os había enseñado estos shorts rollo dockers aquí, y los zapatos Oxford aquí y aquí. Pero me encanta cómo quedan juntos, son más o menos del mismo estilo, ¿verdad? El toque de leopardo en las gafas de sol le aporta el toque desenfadado a este look tan "Niña buena". ¿Os gusta?

Railway

I'm sorry for not posting during the past days. August is August, also here in Dublin, even if the weather is not always as good as it should be! Today I'm wearing a coral parka, that I chose to avoid the typical green one. Jeans, flats, and a looot of comfort. :)



Lo siento por no haber actualizado en los últimos días. Agosto es agosto en España y en Dublín (aunque por el tiempo a veces no lo parezca!). Hoy llevo una parka coral oscuro, que elegí para desmarcarme de la típica kahki. Jeans, bailarinas, y comodidad asegurada :)



Aujourd'hui je porte une parka corale, que j'ai choisi pour pas acheter la verte, trop typique. Jeans, ballerines et confort. :)

In the harbour

Today, some pics taken in Dun Laoghaire's harbour, in the outskirts of Dublin. I'm sorry for the quality, we took them with the iPhone because we didn't plan going there. We decided it spontaneously, as a way to enjoy the heatwave (couldn't be happier about it! LOL). I'm wearing the tie dye shorts that I did myself here and an oversized t-shirt that you've already seen in this post. Xxx.




Hoy unas fotillos en el puerto de Dun Laoghaire, en las afueras de Dublín. Lo siento por la calidad, están hechas con el iPhone... Y es que fui allí de forma espontánea, sin la cámara, para no perder un segundo de la ola de calor! Sé que por allí os asáis, pero aquí nos está sentando FENOMENAL! Jaja. Llevo los shorts tie dye que hice yo misma aquí, con una camiseta oversize que ya visteis en este post. Un beso!

Snake print

What can I say about this shirt, if it's the one which I'm wearing in the pic of the blog's head, and I wore it for my first post! You can see it here, where, by the way, I was much more skinny than now... Oh, how good the desserts are here in Dublin! Haha. But honestly, now that I see that first post I think I was TOO slim! In my opinion these kilos that I've put on suit me :) Anyway, I don't want to gain more weight! Haha.

Qué puedo decir de esta camisa snake print, si es la que llevo en la cabecera del blog, y aquélla con la que lo inaugure! Podéis ver ese primer post aquí, en el que por cierto estoy mucho más delgada que ahora. Ay...es que los postres dublineses son irresistibles! Jaja. La verdad es que ahora que veo esas me parece que estaba DEMASIADO delgada! Creo que los kilitos que he ganado aquí me favorecen :) Eso sí, tampoco me hacen falta más! Jaja.
